A few days ago, I found a site that promises easy and, most importantly, free blog promotion

For the last few days, i have been trialling the system... (i wanted to get some definite results about its effectiveness)

But the real question does it work?  And I will tell you

Long Time, No Cyber See...

I started this blog back in April kinda just to put off revision for my mock A2 exam and my last post was early May which mean i have been seriously lacking in content which i apologise for...

A quick update about myself.... I have now started a new chapter in my life at Nottingham Trent University, studying Digital Media Technology and yes, i know its a bit geeky but what do you expect from a newbie blogger

I have probably lost my readers that i gained around April-time (let me know if you are still here from back then) but i am planning to acquire some more...

A Great Day All Round

Today has been a great day for two reason. One, Osama Bin Laden has been found.... finally, after 10 years of waiting. The news has spread like wildfire over the web, especially Facebook and Twitter. I shouldn't be the first person to tell you this, unless you have been living under a rock. Bin Laden was killed by US forces in a $1 million compound (very low key!!!) near Islamabad, Pakistan earlier today. The first intelligence on his location was heard by Obama in August. US forces took possession of the body after a firefight and use DNA tests to confirm that it was Bin Laden that had been killed. 

A White Girl With Swag

I know it's rare but I think I have found somebody who could easily win the 'White Girl with the Most Swag' award. This is Amy and Nick and together they are Karmin. Amy is kind of a blend of Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry (What a great combination). I first saw a video of theirs on my Facebook feed and had to share with the world. They, not only, does covers but they also have their own original material on her Youtube page as well. The first video of theirs that I saw was a cover of Chris Brown's Look At Me Now, I already really like this song but after listening to hers I was amazed! The Blanks (Ted's Band)

Like many people out there in cyberspace, I enjoy Scrubs. Especially the character of Ted and his band. For those of you who might not know, Ted's band is real!!! In Scrubs, they are known as 'The Worthless Peons' or 'Ted's Band' but obviously they aren't called 'Ted's Band' in real life but 'The Blanks'


The Blanks are an a cappella group (They make music without any instrumental sounds). In 2004, The Blanks released their debut album, Riding the Wave and I definitely think you sure check them out, you won't regret it...

Toddler Signs For Dutch Football Club

A video of Baerke van der Meij, aged one and a half, has gone viral!!!

The video shows the toddler kicking three balls into a toy box one after another. After seeing the video of this impressive feat, a Dutch football club invited him for a trial 

VVV, the Dutch football club, has now offered him a symbolic 10-year contract

Another interesting fact is that his grandfather had also played for VVV.

"Baerke did his best to amaze professional footballer Ken Leemans with his football techniques," the club said.

A Recent Internet Discovery

Anyone who has watched The LXD or really now their break dancers will know Daniel Cloud Campos. I recently found him on Youtube after googling his name while I was watching The LXD.

For those who don't know, The LXD is a web series about people who discover they have superpowers through their dance abilities.... it might sound a bit of a rubbish concept but the dance scenes are amazing and the whole format is pulled off very well. I would highly recommend it to anybody

In 1998, Daniel joined the dance crew, Skillz Methodz and most recently were crowned the B-Boy Crew Champions at the World of Dance Tour in 2009

4 Days till The Royal Wedding

Only 4 days left to the wedding of the decade but does anybody care?  ...... not really

Older people and foreigners might care but for the average English person there is only one positive of the wedding.... a day off school/work etc so no difference to those on the dole

Now, T-Mobile over the last year or so have produced some great adverts

• The flash mob in Liverpool Street Station
• Sing-a-long in Trafalgar Square
• 'Welcome Back' in Heathrow's Terminal 5

Now, they have a new one. You've guessed it, it's to do with the Royal Wedding

A New Chapter

A short bit about myself

From the blog title, you might be able to tell that I consider myself an optimist. I'm a regular sixth form guy, just waiting to leave for university.

Over the last few months I have realised that I have started to daydream quite a lot and I thought the best thing to do was to create a space to share my opinions, frustrations and some random interesting things I have found online

From now on I will update this regularly and I hope to receive feedback from you, the readers
