Bin Laden is believed to have ordered the 9/11 attacks and a number of others. He was top of the US 'Most Wanted' list for almost a decade with a $25 million bounty on his head. After he was killed Bin Laden was buried at sea after being thrown from a aircraft carrier.
Obama announced it was "the most significant achievement to date in our nation's effort to defeat al-Qaeda"
There has been a slight downside though, as US embassies around the world have been put on alert fearing of reprisal attacks for the killing.... duhh obviously al-Qaeda is going to try to avenge Bin Laden death.
That wasn't the only great thing to happen today. The Midnight Beast released their long-awaited video 'The Dance Routine' which includes a special guest.... not even I would have guess them. In case you have been living on Mars or something and you don't know who they are, The Midnight Beast are a British music trio from London, made famous from their parody of Tik Tok by Ke$ha. TMB are made up of Stefan Abingdon, Dru Wakely and Ashely Horne. They are doing their own three date tour later in the year and headlining the Festival Republic Stage at the Reading and Leeds Festivals in Summer 2011
I first heard of the TMB when their Tik Tok video graced my Facebook news feed and I have been eagerly awaiting each new video each time. I've really got to get myself one of them TMB hoodies
So watch their video and check out the special guest...
